Exhibition “Athens. From Page to City”

In celebration of the annual International Archives Day, an exhibition of archival records is being organized. The exhibition “Athens: From Page to City” offers the public a unique journey through the city’s memory, featuring rare archival records and the personal histories of individuals who served in public administration. The exhibition is hosted from June 25 to July 31 at the new City of Athens building (159 Patission & Agathoupoleos St.), with free admission.

The exhibition features original documents, artifacts, digitized records, and City Council minutes, which are being displayed for the first time. A short film with archival footage from the 1930s through the 1970s is also presented. Among the archival records on display are documents with references to historical figures such as  General Makriyannis and the Duchess of Plaisance

Gratefully sponsored by the Motor Oil Group.
